Term 2, Week 3

Hi everyone,

For our first reading response, I want you to think about the beginning of the book you have just read.  We're looking at narratives this term, so think carefully about the orientation.
  • Did the orientation grab your attention?
  • What was it about the orientation that grabbed your attention or turned you off?  What did the author do or not do?
  • What was one good thing about this orientation that you would like to use in your own writing?
Looking forward to hearing your responses - just hit the link to comment and type away.

See you in readers circle.

  1. the orientation grabbed my attention cause it was so cool that his mum was a scientist and had a lab with all her potions.

The thing that grabbed my attention in loin boy was when his mum wrote him a song in her blood and told him always keep it with him.

The thing i want to use in my one story writing is having a mum that is a scientist and makes you own potions and having a son that can speek cat.
